Whether you’re looking for a one or two-bedroom Montrose apartment, we offer spacious floor plans that are perfect for anyone. Our in-home and community amenities are always a top seller for our Houston apartments, but it’s our neighborhood that makes people fall in love with our Montrose apartments.
There is so much going on in the Montrose neighborhood, and The Susanne is located in the heart of some of Houston’s best coffee shops (some are walking distance, others are a quick car or bike ride from our door).
Here are 8 of our favorite Montrose coffee shops:
Black Hole Coffee House is located on Graustark Street, a popular, yet hidden street of Montrose. There’s usually a food truck parked outside, plus there are quiche and other small bite options inside along with terrific iced and hot coffee, tea choices and more. Get situated at a small indoor or outdoor table, or grab a seat at one of their eclectic couches.
Agora is a two-story building with an “artistically inspiring atmosphere” serving as another nearby popular coffee and cocktail spot, located a few blocks north on Westheimer. Here you can find European delicacies, gourmet coffee and day and evening crowds working or hanging out.
Inversion Coffee & Art is located on Montrose Blvd. and offers a small, intimate area for getting some work done while enjoying a beverage or meeting with colleagues or friends. According to their website, “Inversion Coffee House is a meeting ground for artists, art lovers, neighbors, friends and visitors. Stop by anytime for our artistically inspired brew and a tempting array of hearty snacks, artisan-baked pastries, and other indulgent offerings.”
FIX Coffeebar offers great seasonal selections that also happen to make some of the best Instagram photos. Try something unique from their menu like a Smoked Rosemary Cortado, Blueberry Hibiscus Tea, Cinnamon Plum Tea, breakfast taco, or something seasonal.
Siphon Coffee is another local favorite on West Alabama that has indoor and outdoor seating and some of the best breakfast tacos and vanilla lattes in all of Houston. This local spot proudly works with Houston roasters like Amaya Coffee & Xela and boasts an impressive all-day food menu too.
Common Bond is your place for sweets and coffee combined, located on the corner of Dunlavy and Westheimer. Having been around since May 2014, it’s quickly become a Montrose favorite.
Empire Café is another hot spot for breakfast and brunch, but also a great place to grab coffee, right off Westheimer.
Brasil is a long-running bar/restaurant located on the corner of Dunlavy and Westheimer serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and more with ample seating for meetings or to spread out and get some work done. They also have a mascot, who is a sweet bulldog who often greets outdoor guests enjoying their coffees or cocktails (don’t miss their back patio too!).
Be sure to check out the Montrose neighborhood, which offers a unique mixture of things to see and do, including more coffee shops! Interested in the Houston museums after a cup of coffee?
